This is a breed that we fell in love with many years ago. We loved the Golden Retriever but wanted something a bit smaller. We attempted to breed resulting in a 40-50 lb Golden Retriever looking family pet. Our goal is to achieve a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Size. 

Country Retrievers do shed their coats. Our Country Retrievers are a cross between a Purebred Golden Retriever and a Purebred Cocker Spaniel.

Our Country Retrievers have the temperament and disposition of the Golden Retriever, the perfect breed to provide comfort and companionship.  As puppies they are incredible calm, however, like any other puppy, tend to get a bit more active during the “toddler years” This can be managed by regular walks and playtime.

We have not received any feedback on Health Concerns – they tend to be a very healthy Pet. They LOVE the water and because of their longer (Spaniel) ears will need checking from time to time to make sure they are clear and clean.
